Gift from Ruben

Ruben gave me this gift. First, can you believe that there's something called a "Big Mo" candy bar? And that the Big Mo candy bar is NASCAR-related? I suppose for NASCAR they mean big momentum. But for Ruben's gift to me, he means that I'm a big 'ol homo. And Ruben is correct. I love how we gays can find inspiration anywhere, even in a NASCAR candy bar.

I'm a NASCAR freak, and oddly enough, a pop music freak as well. Here is the statement from Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s website regarding the Dale Jr. "Big 'Mo":

The eight-year NASCAR NEXTEL Cup driver and former winner of the Daytona 500 introduced Big Mo’ to buyers and industry media today at the 2007 Candy Expo at McCormick Place. The name Big Mo’ is a play off Earnhardt Jr.’s hometown of Mooresville, N.C., and the longtime moniker used for he and his closest friends, the Dirty Mo’ Posse. The milk chocolate candy bar will come in two flavors – creamy caramel and peanut butter. It is scheduled to hit stores nationwide in January 2008.

However, whatever joy you can find in a NASCAR candy bar, more power to you! Keep up the great work on the blog!
