The first photo shows Andy and Michelle. It was rather momentus that Andy showed up, because since his 35th birthday in October 2006, he's been in a self-imposted seclusion. So it was nice to see him, and I think that he had a good time.
As befits a woman of her Leo-ness, Michelle sat on a high stool and oversaw the festivities. You can see John M and I paying her homage and doting on her every word.

I enjoy fun conversations with friends, going out to dinner, hiking in national parks, and alternative music from the 80s and early 90s. I'm an avid runner; I've finished seven marathons since 2005 (PR 3 hours, 19 minutes in 2010) and will likely run my eighth in 2011. My friends describe me as earnest, empathetic, industrious, hard working, unpretentious, and intelligent. I love to smile and laugh, and I don't take myself too seriously. I'm extremely loyal to my friends, sometimes to the point of being too hard on them. I've been told that I'm a good listener. My friends and family are very important to me. Honesty and humor are very important. People who can’t crack a smile or muster a giggle turn me off. I enjoy 'being' more than 'doing'. I don't need to go out to have a good time; I just need to have good company. I prefer dinner and a show (be it live, film, or rented) to a club. I like honest and witty conversations.
